The Chief Executive Officer of BSBIOS is elected vice-president of the Associative and Institutional


União Brasileira do Biodiesel (Ubrabio) in general assembly, on May 26th, in Brasília, elected its new board of directors. The front of the presidency of the Conselho Superior da entidade Juan Diego Ferrés was reelected for the next three years. The chief executive officer of BSBIOS Erasmo Carlos Battistella was elected vice-president of the Associative and Institutional Relations of UBRABIO.

For the chief executive officer of BSBIOS Erasmo Carlos Battistella, participating in the board of directors of UBRABIO, is very important. "We are happy to participate in an entity that represents producers of biodiesel and tries to improve renewable energy which is consistent with our ideal", he emphasized.

Yet, the board of directors: vice-presidents of Legal Issues, Silvio Rangel, Financing issues, Irineu Boff, Technical issues, Geraldo Martins, Administrative issues, Marco Antônio Moura de Castro and Tax issues, Alberto Borges, besides the chief executive officer, Odacir Klein. The election happened at the moment when the entity was going to be three years.

Ubrabio was founded in May 2007 by a group of biodiesel producers. Today the entity also represents manufacturers of inputs, equipment suppliers, companies of technologies and other services linked to the chain. Currently, Ubrabio has 37 partners.
