Copa Truck to Use 100% Be8 BeVant® in All Trucks of the Category for the 2026 Season

Be8 takes over naming rights and the championship will be called Copa Truck Be8 BeVant®, the premier truck racing category in Brazilian motorsport. The new biofuel developed by the company  reduces greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by up to 99%

Be8, a renewable energy company, announced this Thursday (12) that it will become the official biofuel supplier of Copa Truck. The partnership includes the use of Be8 BeVant® biofuel in all 40 trucks on the grid, as well as the category’s naming rights, which will now be known as Copa Truck Be8 BeVant®.

“This partnership with Copa Truck marks a new step in our market strategy to offer a Brazilian, renewable, viable, safe, and fully compatible solution for immediate decarbonization in operations with high technical demands, such as top-level professional motorsport,” said Erasmo Carlos Battistella, President of Be8. “On the tracks next season, we will place the energy transition at the center of the competition alongside major companies in the automotive sector—this will be an example for the world,” Battistella added.

“Welcoming Be8 as the naming rights partner of Copa Truck is a milestone for the category. This is a partnership that goes beyond sponsorship and positions Copa Truck as a key player in discussions around innovation and energy transition, without compromising performance, competitiveness, or the on-track spectacle,” highlighted Copa Truck CEO Carlos Col.

Developed by Be8, Be8 BeVant® is a renewable biofuel that can be used 100% pure in diesel engines, with no need for technical adaptations or additional infrastructure investments. The product delivers the same performance while reducing GHG emissions by up to 99%, establishing itself as an immediate and effective alternative for decarbonizing heavy-duty and urban transportation.

“This initiative goes far beyond a marketing action. We are talking about a project that brings together innovation, technology, and sustainability in a practical way. We believe sport can—and should—serve as a showcase for solutions capable of transforming the transportation energy matrix and contributing to a more sustainable future,” said Leandro Zat, Vice President of Operations at Be8.

High Level of Competitiveness with Performance

Be8 BeVant® has already been approved in the category’s pre-season tests, demonstrating stable, safe, and consistent operation, with no need for any adaptations to the trucks. “The adoption of Be8 BeVant® maintains the high level of competitiveness of the category, preserving performance and race dynamics — which was a fundamental aspect for everyone involved. The tests were monitored by technical teams from Be8 and Copa Truck, reinforcing the joint commitment to innovation, safety, and sustainability. These practical analysis stages add robustness to the product and strengthen confidence that our solution is viable and scalable,” said Camilo Adas, Director of Energy Transition and Institutional Relations at Be8.

Available on the market since January 2025, Be8 BeVant® is already in use by more than 30 companies in the transportation and power generation sectors, providing clean energy for bus companies, logistics operators, airport services, and agricultural operations.

A Partnership That Goes Beyond Fuel

In addition to supplying the biofuel and securing naming rights, the partnership between Be8 and Copa Truck includes a strong brand presence across the category’s platform. Be8 BeVant® will feature visibility assets such as trackside signage, podium branding, and interview backdrops, as well as relationship initiatives, experiences, and special activations throughout the season.

This partnership reinforces Copa Truck’s positioning as a real-world laboratory for innovation and sustainability in motorsport and establishes Be8 as a leading player in Brazil’s energy transition agenda.
