Transparency

Since 2022, we have been structuring a strategy to reduce and mitigate Be8’s scope 1 and 2 emissions, with the goal of making the Company carbon neutral by 2030. In line with this goal, some actions have been implemented and planned to contribute to achieving this objective, such as the preparation of the Decarbonization Plan, the Decarbonization Path and the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions Inventory. Greenhouse Gas Emissions (GHG) Inventory

The GHG inventory is a tool that enables the estimated quantification of GHG emissions from a company's direct and indirect processes.

Since 2022, Be8 has been preparing its GHG inventory annually, which follows the recognized methodology of the Brazilian GHG Protocol Program (PBGHG), is verified by a Verification Body accredited by InMetro and, subsequently, published in the Public Emissions Registry, enabling the obtaining of the PBGHG Gold Seal, the highest level Brazilian certification for GHG inventories.

Emissions Reduction

In 2025, Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions from Be8’s industrial units and offices included in the decarbonization pathway* totaled 14,215.67 tCO₂e, representing a 22.84% reduction compared to 2024. The main reasons for this reduction are detailed in the report referenced above.

In 2025, our greenhouse gas emissions intensity index for these units—considering Scopes 1 and 2—was 14.50 kgCO₂e/m³, calculated based on the volume of biodiesel produced during the period.

* The decarbonization pathway was developed in 2023 and will be updated in 2026 to include the company’s new operational units.
