Ethic and Integrity
For the company to remain sustainable in the long term, acting ethically and with integrity are non‑negotiable values. At Be8, the main set of behavioral standards that must be followed by all employees is detailed in the Code of Conduct, which was revised at the end of 2021 and released in the first quarter of 2022. It serves as a guide to ensure lawful conduct in daily interactions, including with coworkers, shareholders, unions, buisness partners, media, custmers, public agents, suppliers, and competitors.
The document was created to comply with national and international laws, as well as the company's purpose, vision and values. Be8 repudiates the disrespect of individuals, whether internal or external to the company, harassment and any form of discrimination, abuse power, slave labor oy any equivalent condition, the use of children labor, bribery and corruption, and retaliation for reporting, in addition to the disclosure of confidential information and the use of privileged information.
Be8 also has a set of regulations (policies and procedures) that complement its Code of Conduct, such as: the Compliance Policy, Corporate Governance Policy, Corporate Risk Policy, Information Security Policy, Third‑Party Due Diligence Procedure, Supplier Management, Integrated Management System, among others.
Unethical or illegal behavior must be reported to the Be8 Whitleblowing Chanel, available to all audiences. The assessment of reports is the responsibility of the Compliance area, but the Channel is managed by an independent company and ensures absolute confidentiality.
